Here she is...La Lambeth!

HERE SHE IS FOLKS...OUR LITTLE ANGEL!!

Here is our darling daughter just 2 minutes after we met her. She is very shy and is on the verge of tears...Hunter and I were on the verge of tears as well...tears of happiness! :) We met her the day she turned 2 and 1/2 (her birthday is Dec. 4).

She's already attached to her daddy's finger!! We still have yet to name her as we figure out what will fit with her personality and story. So we'll keep you posted on that.

We were only able to spend 5 minutes with her intially, but got to return that afternoon for about an hour. We played with her group (2-3 year olds) and spent about 30 minutes walking her around.

Day 2 was a little hard, as we had to do some blood tests (all are fine, by the way!) and after a shot in each arm she wasn't very happy to see us. But we got to spend some time with her playing with some toys and walking around.
She loves to eat bananas, crackers, anything we give her! I don't think she's ever seen a juice box before as she had no idea what to do with the straw and pulled it out of the box to suck the juice off the bottom of it. After some treats, she was happier and we walked around pointing out birds (petechka) and planes (samaloot). Hunter would meow like a kitten (keesa) and and bark like a dog (sabachka) and she would jump up and look around or "ruff" back at him. Very cute.

Here's a great picture of her with her daddy! Grandma (Babushka) Lambeth this one is for you!

She is very inquisitive and loves to explore and pick up sticks, rocks, trash, anything she can find. ;) She likes to keep the park area clean! ;)

We've had 3 good days with her. What a wonderful blessing! :)

We need to run, but will have more time tomorrow to fill in the details of the last few days.
Lots of love, Hunter and Lauri and little one makes 3!!

Oops. So many spelling errors above but I hit publish before I corrected...smile. So, just pretend that most of it is in a foriegn language that you are having to figure through and you will get the heart of the matter. Oh me oh my! Congratulations on getting this far through your adoption process.
